A soon as I could walk/talk; I was always first to the dance floor, putting on shows for unwilling living room audiences and convincing strangers on holidays that I was from different countries with my accents (true story!). Performing was clearly in my blood and with this came a whole host of characters, accents and sound effects... I do my own vocal stunts!

My inaugural leading role came aged 8 at primary school, where I trod the boards as The Bossy Christmas Fairy. It was there that I discovered my on stage potential, but could a young Lucy really call being bossy, acting?! 

My professional life finally started when I made my way to drama school after being awarded a scholarship for Dance and Musical Theatre.  I tried my best to carry on as a triple threat but I found myself ever more drawn to the world of character and comedy acting, with incredible improvisation and vocal training from Ali James (Showstoppers: An Improvised Musical) and I haven't looked back!
